I shared these words in a personal meeting I was able to have with the London staff of the UN refugee agency, formally known as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
I had just returned from visiting the world’s largest refugee camp on the Bangladesh/Myanmar border.
One of the staff kindly recorded my reflections on the enduring depth of humanity’s compassion and care in times of crisis.
